Things to consider before booking your content holiday

It’s been a while!

I’ve been on holiday! I want to say it was a nice relaxing break but that would be a lie. This was a working content holiday with a creator friend. We pulled out all of the stops for this trip. Supercars for TikTok content? Why the fuck not? Anyway, as this was a working holiday it required more planning than what colour bikinis I should pack. Planning starts right at the booking process.

Location is crucial - where are we staying? We needed somewhere spacious with a lot of access to natural light as well as aesthetically pleasing. This you normally wouldn’t overthink for a normal holiday but - without stating the obvious - for content making you need enough room to make the content. You also need to make sure that your accommodation gives you enough natural light should you not be able to bring a light with you. Natural light is always A* for shooting content anyway.

Staying on the topic of location, it was also important to consider where we stay. We didn’t want to be in the middle of nowhere with no place to go so we are limited to making content in our hotel room. We wanted aesthetic backgrounds, different locations - beach, city life, high rise buildings, fancy restaurants.

We also needed to upgrade our luggage allowance. The extra luggage weight will be needed to make room for all the equipment I need to take with me. Besides lingerie, I took my travel tripod, my small transportable light and a couple of “props”. As we also planned to make content for our social media pages while we were there, I packed some sexy swimsuits and nice outfits. Shorts and vests just weren’t going to cut it. 

REMEMBER: pack the appropriate plug adapter for any electricals. Don’t want to get on your holiday and have a ring light that you can’t plug in. NIGHTMARE.

Oh and another thing - should you find yourself at a nudist beach and want to get some content, be mindful of other people being caught in the background. OnlyFans won't allow that.
