How Only Fans helped me buy my dream car

I remember, 4 years ago, almost to the day, I bought my first ever new car. Well, I say new, it was an 11 plate Volvo Estate with 110,000 miles on the clock and was being sold for £5.2K. I traded in my water coolant leaking, 57 plate Ford Focus with probably 160,000 miles on the clock, for £200. I thought, jesus fuck, that's a BARGAIN. £5K for my NEW CAR??? I bought it all myself. No one helped me, it was a leap of faith that I would be able to afford it. This was the biggest purchase I'd ever made. I took a loan out and everything just in case I had a bad month on Only Fans, at least I could pay this £5K car off slowly! 

Within 2 months of having that loan I took out to buy my *new* Volvo, I'd rung the bank, and paid off the whole lot. There was something inside me that said "You don't need that £5K in your savings account, you WILL make it back. Pay off the loan so you have no debt, and work for YOURSELF and make your savings back. That was the scariest thing I ever did, leaving myself with the bare minimum in my bank account, trusting that voice inside my head that said working full time as a Barista and building my Only Fans, WILL pay off.

2 months later, I quit my full time Barista job and was earning more than enough to be a fully self employed content creator... with the £5K made back and safely in my savings account again. I'll get to the point of all this, I promise.

The title says how *Only Fans* helped me buy my dream car, but that's what we all say isn't it? Or that's what the haters say to use our jobs against us; "You bought that with Only Fans money", or "You could only afford that because of Only Fans". 

It's got me thinking, just how fucking stupid people are to be honest. Can you imagine saying to a Chef "You only managed to buy your new hot tub because you're a CHEF! HA a CHEF!!". It doesn't work does it? They didn't buy it because they just happen to be a Chef, they bought it because they're good at their job and were earning enough in a 5 star restaurant and hired privately to be able to afford to buy a hot tub, being a Chef. 

And that's kinda the point of this particular blog. Only Fans didn't help me. The CEO didn't reach out and say "Taylor my dude, YOU deserve this Volvo, you are you and that's enough for me to help you out here... have a new car". But me being good at my job, a pornstar of sorts, while ON Only Fans, learning my craft, still grafting a full time job for that safety net I believe everyone should have, is how I bought my dream car.

Power of the mind is important. If you're constantly telling yourself "I don't have time", you're right, you don't and you never will have it. If you're telling yourself "I CAN'T do that, I CAN'T afford to", you're right, you will always live in your comfort zones, and that's okay, if you're not looking to exceed your own expectations.

But just on the off chance, you've gotten to the end of this blog, you're probably someone who wants to succeed, you're someone who's looking for that answer on how you can move to the next level as a creator, and my answer to that is this: 

Change your 'I Can't' to "How could I?", stop saying 'I can't' and start thinking "Is it the fact I can't? Or is it because I won't? When you start saying 'I won't' instead of 'I can't', your self awareness will really shine through, and then THOSE are the changes you need to make.

With this mindset, 4 years ago, I bought my, at-the-time, dream car. Today, 4 years later, with the same mindset and the most knowledge I have ever had at being a great Sex Creator, I just put down a £5K deposit for my new version of a dream car. I pick her up in 2 weeks.
